Scottish Citylink introduce
summer timetable
Scottish Citylink today unveiled its summer
timetable which starts on 30th May 2005.
The leading express coach service has introduced
a range of changes for the summer months to further improve
its service to customers across the length and breadth of
Scotland.
Citylink operates fast and frequent services
to over 200 towns and cities across Scotland and provides
more than 400 services per day.
A number of services have been included
in the summer timetable to meet extra customer demand and
support tourism in Scotland.
Services
being introduced include:
• Additional Sunday services between Glasgow and Campbeltown
• Additional services between Glasgow and Oban
• Additional services between Oban and Fort William
from 27th June to 13th August
• Additional Sunday departures between Fort William
and Inverness
• Daily direct service Edinburgh to Fort William via
Stirling with connections for Oban and Skye
• Oban to Perth direct with one journey extended to
operate to and from Dundee
Paul Murphy, Marketing Manager for Scottish
Citylink, said: “Our
revised timetable is tailored to meet changes in demand over
the summer months with a number of additional services and
routes being introduced.
